Eliminate these low-hanging weak points with our rear lower link reinforcement and skid plate kits. The mount skid plates are made from CNC-cut and formed 1/4″ steel and protect the thin factory brackets from trail impacts. The 1/4″ steel construction is thicker and stronger than any of our competitors’ offerings, meaning you can rest assured that these will stand up to the hardest impacts with ease. The bottom edge is contoured to provide maximum protection while still allowing for full suspension articulation of the lower links.
The rear lower link reinforcement braces serve as an effective yet much more economical alternative to full replacement rear links. From our experience, reinforcing the factory links provides all of the same articulation and strength as full replacement rear links, without costing hundreds of dollars. These reinforcements are made from CNC-cut and formed 3/16″ steel and weld onto the topside of the factory links, greatly increasing their strength without losing any ground clearance. The ends are tapered to eliminate any interference that can happen between the links and axle housing during full suspension flex/articulation. A notch is pre-cut into the side of each reinforcement brace to align with the factory parking brake cable bracket. This takes all of the guess work out of positioning the reinforcment braces onto the lower links and ensures that they get located perfectly every time.

•Please note that welding is required for the lower link reinforcements.
•Welding is not mandatory for the skid plates, but we do recommend adding one small weld bead on its top edge to help keep it in position.
•Constructed from 3/16″ and 1/4″ thick steel that is CNC cut and bent in house.
•Both items contain CNC-cut locating features that take all of the guesswork out of installation and ensure a perfect fit every time.
