When we set out to design this bumper, we wanted to create something that packed as much functionality as possible while still looking great and complementing the lines of the 2019+ Ranger. The low profile wrap-around design and optional side hoops mean that this bumper will take your Ranger’s offroad performance to new levels. The sloping rear profile and optional recessed hitch receiver further increase clearance and provide a smooth surface to slide over obstacles. These features make a very noticeable difference during deep ditch crossing and steep obstacle climbs where other aftermarket bumpers with bulky rear profiles will hang up and impede progress on the trail. Simply put, this bumper allows you to forget about departure angle and substantially improves the offroad capability of your Ranger!
To maintain the full towing capacity of the vehicle, we designed this bumper to be fully compatible with the factory hitch receiver. Alternatively, if you prefer to ditch the factory hitch receiver, this bumper is also available with an integrated hitch receiver that provides even more ground clearance gains. Another unique feature of this bumper is the integrated winch mount. This winch mount accepts all standard 8-12,000 lb winches with removable solenoids and truly makes this bumper the boss of the trail.
To finish things off nicely, this bumper comes pre-cut with holes for the factory parking sensors, license plates light, and spare tire lowering mechanism. Simply pop them out of your factory bumper and add them to your new Coastal Offroad bumper without any wiring extensions or modifications required.
And of course, this feature-packed bumper is built from heavy duty 3/16″ steel or 1/4″ aluminum that provides excellent protection from rocks, trees and inattentive motorists while careful design work and the low profile design have resulted in weights of 96lbs and 47lbs for the steel and aluminum versions respectively. The bumper mounts to the vehicle with up to 18 factory mounting points. While this is certainly overkill, it ensures that impact and pulling forces are evenly distributed into your Ranger’s frame.
The optional swing out carriers come in either a single or dual sided configuration and are built to accept a tire up to 37″ in diameter. Both carriers include mounting brackets for a hilift jack and other recovery items. The dual swing out includes the hilift mount as well as a lockable jerry can holder designed to fit two 20L NATO style jerry cans. These carriers feature heavy duty chromoly heim joint hinges, locking 2000lb toggle latches, T-handle spring pins, and a replaceable UHMW catch pad that provides secure, rattle free operation. The heim joints in conjunction with the toggle latch provide tons of adjustability, allowing for easy assembly and guaranteed alignment of the carrier latch. The single swing out add-on weighs 34lbs and the dual swing out add-on with gas can holder weighs 77lbs.
